CHILDREN'S POLICING PLEDGE

South Yorkshire Police’s Community Safety Department is asking South Yorkshire’s youngsters for help in designing a Children’s Policing Pledge. The policing pledge is a set of promises from the police to you about the services they will provide. All 43 police forces in England and Wales have agreed to keep those promises so the same set of promises apply wherever you are.

Find out more about what that means to you by logging onto:

The South Yorkshire Police website

Young people across South Yorkshire have been asked to create and design a child-friendly Policing Pledge in line with the national Pledge. In April and May the Community Safety Department are promoting the competition through all secondary schools and further education colleges in South Yorkshire.
