WOLVERHAMPTON SCHOOLS BENEFIT FROM CARILLION SUPPORT
Seven schools in Wolverhampton have received the Play Safe, Stay Safe, Keep Safe safety resource which has been supplied by Carillion plc.
Carillion provides all the services needed to build, maintain, operate and, in some cases, finance new schools, hospitals, roads, railways, shops, offices, factories and the supply networks for electricity, gas, water and telecommunications.
In particular, Carillion is proud to be one of the leading companies involved in replacing or re-furbishing every secondary school in England under the Government’s Building Schools for the future programme.
A company spokesman said: “Carillion is honoured to support the excellent work of the Children’s Safety Education Foundation by helping to fund this vital resource.”
“You may know about some of the other things we have built or for which we provide support services, such as the Government’s Communications Headquarters in Cheltenham, Brindley Place in Birmingham, Beetham Tower in Manchester, the Great Western Hospital in Swindon and the brand new Library of Birmingham.“
“We lead the way in making sure that Carillion is kind to the environment by making our services and buildings sustainable as we know this helps us to achieve our mission of “making tomorrow a better place” for generations to come. We hope you find the resources useful and if you ever want to find out more about Carillion, we’ve got a section on our website called School Zone, which you might find interesting,“
