CSEF offers a whole range of safety education resources for schools on important personal safety issues such as bullying, first aid, drugs and alcohol, as well as improving awareness of every day dangers such as roads, fire and substance abuse. CSEF also co-ordinates Crucial Crew Events, Theatre Workshops and Self-Discipline School Assemblies. These ‘hands-on’ events teach children about important issues that are often overlooked by the curriculum, such as anti social behaviour, basic first aid, road and fire safety. SAFETY DVD FOR 120,000 LONDON SCHOOL PUPILS	*MEDIA OPPORTUNITY* CRUCIAL EDUCATION IN CHILD SAFETY
National charity, the Children's Safety Education Foundation (CSEF), has teamed up with the Metropolitan Police to launch a vital new tool in the battle against childhood injury. The DVD resource will teach young people the skills needed to keep themselves safe. It comes as part of the Junior Citizen programme, a series of interactive education workshops attended by over 120,000 children from 600 schools across London each year. The DVD was unveiled at a special event that was attended by David Bell, Permanent Secretary to the Department for Children Schools and Families. Speaking at the launch, David Bell said: "This DVD is a great example of how we can work together in partnership, to tackle the issue of child safety. It is a credit to all of the agencies that took part, the emergency services and to CSEF, and I am delighted to hear that so many children across London will benefit from it." 	STAGECOACH ENCOURAGE KIDS SAFETY 'OUT & ABOUT' IN ABERDEENSHIRE
	Stagecoach have sponsored the Children’s Safety Education Foundation (CSEF) to help fund the resources required to promote Safety while out and about. The Stagecoach Charitable Committee has donated £6,000 to the Foundation to award seven schools in Aberdeenshire with the materials required to prevent accidents in the home and while out and about. The schools benefiting from the funding are Fintry School, Culter Primary School, Mintlaw Primary School, Lairhillock Primary School, Bracoden Primary School, Kintore Primary School and Portlethen Primary School, all of which already have links with the bus company who provide school transport. ...
	WALLINGTON ROTARY SUPPORTS SUTTON AND NORTH SURREY JUNIOR CITIZEN CHILD SAFETY EVENT
	The Junior Citizen scheme is a joint venture that the Rotary Clubs on the London Borough of Sutton and North Surrey Area are keen to support. Wallington Rotary Club has already pledged a payment knowing that their neighbouring clubs have also agreed to match by an equal contribution. They feel that this scheme is an excellent idea which, through publication and publicity, encourages awareness of the many hazards and challenges which many youngsters are faced with in today’s every day life....
